Nearest Dwemer dungeon?

Took a misc. quest for the Thieves guild in Ald'Run. I need to find scrap metal in a Dwemer dungeon.
Don't see any listed in the Ald'Run area...any suggestions for a relatively easy one? I just made level 4...

There is one near Balmora/ Fort Moormoth (or whatever), and you need to go there anyway to get needed item for main quest.
Just follow Caius´s orders.

Uncle...on the paper map there are multiple locales marked with an "x". I do not see a key on the map (or in the book); what do these "x" marks represent?
Also, what do the unreadable names represent? There is one under the name Bal Fell, another under Ald Sotha, one between Hlormaren and Hla Oad, just east of one of those "x" marks. (Quite a few..but those were the ones I saw quickly while typing this out.)
