Paladin Ummar Hills problem

I got the quest to go to Ummar Hills and help the Radian Heart out, but I can't find any kinghts in the area. Is it possible I waited too long to go to Ummar Hills? I couldn't go there for a long time becuase it was still greyed out.

I think it is too late. You were asked to go there immediately. Even 2 days later would have been too late.

The Umar hills or the Windspear hills? Umar hills is given by a little boy, usually in the govt. district. Helping the paladins out is the Windspear hills quest.

@T'lainya, one of the Paladin quests is to run RIGHT NOW to the Umar hills and help out some of the Knights of the Order of the Radiant Heart. If you don't get there in time, they die and you MAY have screwed up your stronghold quest.
@Virgil, have you gone back to the Order to see what they say?

@ Saigo my bad. I was thinking of the rescue Garrens child quest. I always associate Umar hills with the ranger quests

Not at all, I never even knew about this until I ran a Paladin.

Does time in fact mean anything in Baldurs Gate? I know dif between day and night but it seems there is no real time to complete quests that I have found

All i know is that umar hills was first marked on your map by a little boy right infront of the district exit of the docks district, he asks you to kill some wolfweres that's been terroizing umar hills, windspear hill are when firkragg made you go there and you encounter a bunch of knights, but with illlusino of ogre cast on them.

I would assume that I ran out of time because if I go back they get pissed at me and I get kicked out of the order. That seems kinda dumb though. If I am supposed to "go right away" Ummar Hills shouldn't be greyed out dammit. I guess I'll avoid going back so I don't lose reputation points and I get no stronghold
!!

You really dont miss much, besides ifyou kill the Red Dragon you cannot get the stronghold quest to a end (the Last mission is kill the Red Dragon).
You only get a plate +2 and a room that you cannot sleep in or keep stuff in.
