Good, BIG FAT modules out there?

Hello to oldies and newbies alike. I came by to ask a question, a rather simple one:

I am about to finish the SP campaign in NWN, and I am not bored of the game, but I wouldn't actually replay the same story over - not before some time has passed.

so, since I want to carry on with the game, I am trying to locate some decent modules.

I've been over at the Vault and got some of the higher-rated biggies (I like my mods big... like 20 or more hours of gameplay - even more would be quite better) but after the tops... I am lost. Navigating through that database is a nightmare.

Do you good people here know of some really good XL mods? Please if you take the time to post a couple suggestions, add the expected gameplay hours, so I can sort them out properly.

Thank you in advance.

Hey Ubik, long time no see!

Well, you have your Lone Wolf series. That is very good in my opinion. If you like comedy and role-play, Penultima is cool. The Shadow Lord series also looks like a fun roleplay.

Wasn't there an official mod that they released with the last patch? I've been meaning to port my character over and give it a try after she saves Neverwinter for the twelfth million times (Those neverwintans just can't seem to take care of themselves for one second! Kinda liked it better how in BGII and PS:T there were always all these factions at work behind the scene you were just one small insignificant piece of the puzzle.)

Try the Witch's Wake mod. You can get it with the last patch. Havn't played it yet but it sounds good!

Witch´s Wake is nice, but it´s only the first part of a series, so it´ll take you only 3 hours or so to finish. Try Spires of Ravenloft, nice story, great unique items, especially for paladins or clerics. Has anyone seen a nice LotR based mod. The ones I found weren't that great.

hi nippy :D

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll try Nagroth's suggestion, prolly in the forthcoming weekend, when I have some spare time.

Also I'll try Lone Wolf and Penultima, got all those too.

Keep'em coming lads : :)
