None save on one sacrosanct NPC in full Daedric without helm.

Err...you can get a cuirass (enchanted with 50 pts feather) from the crazy woman if you are in Telvanni. But there's better cuirasses out there, as there are better gauntlets. If you're just trying to get the full Daedric set, go whack Divayth Fyr after the main quest is over
There should really be a spoiler warning in the thread title...

That assassin kit is extremely badass. Probably one of the best-looking armour sets...

Not to mention that Savior's Hide assessorizes with it so nicely. Very stylish, like Aunt Petunia's Fruit Armor.

There are Daedric pauldrons in the game, one in Tribunal and one in Morrowind, you can pick up; don't know where exactly.
Like Scratchy said, there are much better cuirass out there and the fists of Randgulf sp?.
My warrior character wore:
Dragonbone
Daedric tower shield
Daedric greaves
Deadric boots
Daedric pauldrons
Fists of Randgulf/Wraithguard
All have some CE enchantment. Set is quite nice.
My thief character wears the Brotherhood armor. I started him with Tribunal loaded so it was touch and go but i eventually made it through the fights even though I was only 4th or 5th level.

but apparently Fairmaiden doesn't want to kill the only NPC in the game that runs a hospice for the doomed and also saves her life. .
Hey - what you talking bout?! I'd kill him if I fancied getting my grubby paws on his armor and he wasn't going to be useful in the future thread.
Having said that, one of the things that I liked about a game like BG II was that you feel more of a sense of cameraderie towards your companions and people who've helped you, so you feel sad if they die, bad if you kill them, outraged if they've been wronged, pleased if they romance you, etc and that's one thing that's missing in Morrowind for me. A sense of being more personally or emotionally involved in the drama.
Just a thought.

It does make it a bit hard if you don't know whether it was Nar gro-Shagramph, Lorbumol gro-Aglakh, or Duma gro-Lag that is your bestest buddy. The biggest complaint I have about the gameplay is that they really shouldn't have used a random name generator...
