I am currently House Father of House Redoran, and just recently joined to Morag Tong. Now I´m having this mission to off some Redoran member. Is there any possibility to kill him, and still maintain my membership? Or do I just stop my M.T. progress there, because I don´t want to lose my membership. Same problem will be with Varro eventually I think?

You will get kicked out even so. At least I did. But you can get re-instated.

Yes, they kicked me out. Do you lose standing when reinstated, or is it same like normal fees/penalties that you report and give the writ?

Hmmm. Not sure of any involvement with the mark's family. The Morag Tong quests were the last ones I did. I am sure, however, that I had him alone (he's the only Redoran you have to kill for the Tong which is fortunate). I wasted him and no alarm sounded, which is what usually happens when your crimes are witnessed. I'm sure of this because I never had to present the writ to avoid jail. I just got the message that I was kicked out of the house. I was also the House Father at the time which may or may not be relevant.

If you talk to Nowinda, she will let you off the hook "this one time" and re-instate you at the House Father rank.

It is the Flowers of Gold hit. From the first one, there was no ill effects, as there were no witnessess. I´ll try a few tricks, and see if things can be made work out. Being Councilman and assassin of own house brothers can be a hazardous career move.

It's probably a combination of the House (which is very honor bound) and the rank. I haven't played the other houses yet, but if i remember correctly from the posts i've read, both are more accepting of (and even require you to) get rid of house members for advancement.

Well, got my standing back, but all in all it left me bad taste. Guy begged for his life, and hopefully he was last Redoran I need to kill. Sans of course head honcho. And Flowers of Gold is off limits now on.

Thanks Uncle. I thought same thing. Tried some weak frenzy spell, and it did not work, so maybe I´ll go and make stronger one.

I never got the Frenzy spell, but after several tries, I found a way to handle this one: I used the Amulet of Shadows, entered Sneak mode and took him out with a single shot from my bow. It never got reported as a crime.
