Cal Culator v1.0.0 Released!

This is a silly mod I've made that keeps track of what type of monsters/races you've slain throughout the game.

You need to find the ring in order to summon Cal, your friendly neighbourhood imp. Once you find it, you can summon him, and through dialogue, figure out just how many elves, humans, illithids, etc, you've killed throughout the game.

This only applies to the PC however. And, of course, the counting doesn't start until the mod is installed. Maybe later, if people actually like this, I'll incorporate the other NPC's, but for now, this is all you get. ;)

You'll find the ring somewhere in the promenade, check the containers thoroughly. :)

You can download Cal here, and you can view the readme here.

I didn't put it in the starting dungeon because of Dungeon-Be-Gone. If someone was to install DBG and then Cal, then they'd totally miss the opportunity to nab the ring.

Doesn't the dungeon-be-gon-mod let you get minsc/jaheira and some items first, and lets you leave the dungeon whenever you want?

Well, yes it does. But rather than having to deal with some people staying and checking stuff out (which totally defeats the purpose of DBG), and others moving straight to the end of Irenicus' dungeon, I said ferk it and I stuck the ring in the promenade. :)

But, there's no worry really. If you kill say, 18 goblins in Irenicus' dungeon, Cal will know that when you pick up the ring. Like it says in the readme and my post, the counting starts after installation. :)

Yeah, I really shouldn't of deleted the first version. Ah well.

Here's the link to v1.0.1.

It just fixes two minor bugs.

Sounds like a cool idea. Don't think it's possible but it would be cooler if it were incorperated into the interface. For some reason I remember that IWD had a better combat information screen/interface than BGII. IWDII was really neat estimating damage for each hand and all sorts of bells and whistles.

the fallout games had a wee part in the character screen that tells you how many things you killed, i also like the part that tells you the most powerful bugger you have killed

i miss it in NWN
