Spoller Alert/Requested - Severed Hand

Ok, in the Severed Hand, I just met Riki the Drow who told me that I should poison the guards' food, I have all three of the ingredients, and put them on the table in the wizards' lab on the second floor and nothing happens. My wizard has an alchemy skill of 19. I never did get permission to use the lab as I'd already killed the wizards on the 2nd floor when I went into the mistesses' room. What am I missing?

What ingredients are you using?
You can actually create 2 potions, the poisonous one with the Demon blood and the "sleeping" potion with the tainted demon blood. However the game will only allow you to create the potion you agreed to make with Riki. Your alcemy skill should not be the problem here.

All I recall you having to do is put the ingredients on the table, then walk away and come back to the table. There are no animations or anything if that's what you're waiting for

Pah! I killed em all, and they only harmed a single party member. Does anyone know which gives the more exp?

Thanks, I had the tainted blood but not the real blood, so that was the problem...BTW you only get 1450 exp for poisoning the guards, I would think that you'd get more for killing them.
