Speed problem

Bg2 is extremely choppy on my comp. i dont know why since my comp seems to exede all the requirements by quite a bit. if any one has any advice or has had the problem before the help is appreciated.

You could try to raise the FPS. Not sure if it'll work, but I guess it's worth a try.

Make sure that all existing programs are turned off before starting. Make sure your video and sound cards are properly istalled and have correct plug-ins. Go to you BG2 configuration and make that it is what you want. Also do a virus scan... you can get one of the best at this website,

One thing I've noted on my computer is that if I have the virus scanner's "on-access scanning" option enabled, there is a short pause every time a spell is cast. Virus scanners in general should be turned off while playing, as long as you remember to turn them back on again afterwards.
