new super (cheesy) weapon...testing looks really good

ok, i am currently testing a new super enchantment weapon, that seems to really really rock....
take a battle axe or war hammer, and have it, cast when it hits, cast chameleon on self, 100% for about 1-3 seconds...
you are when you hit something, casting chameleon on yourself for about 1-3 seconds...
this enchantment combines the best effects of calm humanoid, calm creature, backstabbing, and demoralize creature or humanoid...
you see, when it hits, you are invisible, and the enemy often loses lock and runs off looking for you, and you run after it and finish it off with subsequent hits.. and if you chase it, you often get critical hits, and often after you hit a enemy, they forget you are there, so the follow up blows are completely unopposed by the enemy...they simply forget you are there, and you get free swacks...
and due to some peculiarity of the game engine, 1/5 FIRST hits do critical damage...
i mean i have played uber cheese characters with constant effect 100% chameleon before, clearing out really tough lairs with no difficulty, and my weapons did critical damage less often than just running up to a enemy with axe drawn back, and hitting it in the FRONT....
we all know that a sword with calm humanoid cast when strikes is a super cheesy weapon, but this one is even cheesier, cause you get the same effect as calm humanoid, they just stand there and take it, and you are even protecting yourself from any possible retaliation...they forget you are there, they take critical damage, and they run off...
how cool is that for a enchantment that only costs 15 points, and consumes very little charge per hit!!!!!
if i really wanted something evil, i would put this in an ebony staff with some damage health...
best of all, enemy magic resistance does not mean squat, since the weapon's magic affects YOU, so you are spoofing the ai, and do not have to burn thru the enemy magic resistance or reflect spells, or whatever...
the blink hammer and shadow axe...
kinda funny,
dagoth whatshisface: where the frick did that pocking naevarine go???he just whacked me good....oooph!!!
navarine: hehehehhehehhehehehh!!!!!!!!!!!!!(as he blinks back to visibility, he then hits the ash ghoul, and the ash ghoul blinks as the navarine disappears)
ash ghoul: where the heck did you go?? urghhhhh!!!
try it, even with a low level enchantment early in the game, this weapon can make some serious challenges much much easier...you still can get hit with ranged attacks, tho....

well, i have been playing around with 100% chameleon and 100 % sanctuary, both are absolutely awesome, each makes you unkillable....
i avoid levitation, since i find 50 points of jump constant effect is SO much better for getting around...you also keep the always run bonus too...
yeah, 50 points of lev constant will move you around fairly well, but remember levitation is at walking speed, plus whatever your lev bonus is....
yes, i know i can get the boots of blinding speed and savior hide, but i really like ebony mail....
its all about equipment...
also i once lost loot due to clipping errors by game engine while levitated, so i avoid it.....
i really love jumping, you should try it...make a outfit of all jump, and get around 50 points, 100 will jump you from caldera to balmora, but 50 points will jump you from tel vos to vos....and its so much more controlled, and it can replace levitation getting to high places...jump in place, and with good acrobatic skill, you can move while jumped....jump, move at apex of jump, and you can land on ledges and bring out auriel's bow,,,,and silver arrows...best combo ever....
so you prefer darts, right???
i really like long bow...darts just are not as fun for me, unless its area effect arrows...and i started avoiding them one time i fried the zenib bride...
now crossbows are my real favorite....you dont have to worry about projectile drop like with a long bow or dart at all, and its more fun for me..too bad there is not a mod for good crossbows...
daedric crossbow....id love to get one....sigh....

Regarding Sanctuary even 60% is quite enough to be never hit (if one's Agility isn't 10, of course).

wow, only takes 60????
whew!!!!
stinky cheese indeed...
now this super weapon, it is super, and far more nastier than i thought...
you before you go into a room, left click and hold, for a few seconds, that tells the game to go for max damage, and about half the time i get critical hits with the FIRST strike, before even the chamelon effect takes place, while FACING the enemy!!!! its a awesomely powerful weapon...
yeah, i know you can do the same with a standard battle axe and constant effect jewelry, but the point is equipping and unequipping all that jewelry when you want to talk with someone is a major pain in the posterior....
this weapon, if you wind it up, then attack the enemy, reliably does critical damage half the time....and being hit by a critical damage daedric battle axe smarts...hehhehhe

"Actually I use levitation not for fast travel but as a short cut over obstacles, like the Ghostfence, and for fighting necromancers in their lairs. I'm in no hurry to move about the map and actually enjoy exploring the wastelands. I think its much more fun to be able to climb steep mountains and jump, but not from city to city. Just my preference"
then you would love 50 points of jump....
200 to 300 jumps you from city to city, (use multiple items or create multiple spells, sorta like boosters in a rocket engine)
but 50 points allows you to move fast, go over obstacles, and STILL enjoy the scenery...
it takes about 5 jumps to hop from city to city, so you get to enjoy the experience, and dont have that wild blur of speed...
did you know that 50 points of night eye constant effect, very cheap, night eye is a cheap spell, will COMPLETELY get rid of the blinding effect of the boots of speed????
turns out the boots cast blindness on you, and blindness is simply darkness, so enough night eye constant effect, and you can equip the ebony mail, imho the very best armor in the game...or even dragonbone armor, and still enjoy the boots of speed....
the saviors hide is great armor, but i play breton with atronach sign, magic protection is simply not an issue for me, especially since i use cheesy tactics to kill off the head of the mage guild early in the game, for the best amulet in the game, necromancer's amulet....
ebony mail takes a long time to get, but i recently noticed with my scores of 100 in both medium and heavy, the armor rating is identical with dragon bone and ebony mail, and the mail comes with 50 points of shield protection...whoo hoo...and with robe of fire drake pride, also an item i always pick up early, you get as much fire protection as the dragon bone....
but try 50 points of jump, it will make your gaming experience so much better...
oh yeah, best long bow in the game is auriel's bow...
no enchantment, but it does as much damage as daedric longbow, but weighs a lot less...10 less pounds!!!
and it even looks cooler...

bows have lousy enchantment points, so i never even bother...
spoiler....
you get it off that armiger at ghost gate,,,taunt him until he attacks, smack him down...
if you play travanni, its the item you need to complete threana's ash yams quest..... to get a breastplate and greaves of daedric with mondo feather constant effect on them..like i said, i prefer ebony mail, but the greaves are so worth it...the feather on both makes them weigh as much as glass!!!!
so what i do is pick it up early, then give her the bow to get the armor, then taunt her and kill her...hehhehehh
i almost never bother with cast when used, except on rings....to make rings of fire, ice and lightning damage at target...cool graphics....constant effect for everything...
http://welcome.to/wyrenth
his plugin gives you new graphics, and the download gives you 3 plugins, the last gives you jewelry that holds 250 points...wonderful for me, since my main morrowind enjoyment comes from making and testing enchantment ideas...
the bow is totally worth it, looks great with little gold hunting animals inlaid in the black metal of the bow...my absolute favorite targetted weapon...i dont even bother with area effect arrows, just plain silver or i like to console in 500 daedric arrows..hehheheh
area effect arrows is just plain annoying sometimes, when you want to kill just one thing...

am going to try a new experiment with long bow enchantment...
cast when strikes, bound long bow to self....
see if this works the way i think it does...you shoot a long bow at something, and if you hit, your long bow summons a bound long bow for you...
i mean we all know that cast when strikes dont do anything in a ranged weapon, but in the ranged ammo, right???
so if this works, this may be the best enchantment for longbows...
i have tested cast when strikes bound battleaxes and swords, so i know that works...but the implementation on cast when strikes on ranged weapons is just buggy...it should simply not be an option,.....
worst comes to worst, cast when use bound longbow on self is probably the best enchant for auriel's bow....and it looks so nice in your inventory....

Excuse me? What would be the use of a bound long bow replacing your real long bow? Maybe this is a stupid question, but I have never used the bound stuff because it dissappears after a while and can't be enchanted.

all bound weapons will add 10 points to marksman, or axe or whatever skill...
bound weapons are lighter, and magic cheap, so an extravagant ring with bound battle axe weighs nothing, and will create for you a bound axe that adds 10 points to axe skill...
bound weapons will hit anything, and if you have a weapons skill that is at max, like long blade, cause you went to a secret master, or just use it a lot, casting bound longsword will give you 110 skill points on it, and any time you raise skill over 100, it does significantly more damage....
be careful, tho...if you repair a bound axe in a constant effect ring, it stays around forever...the important thing is to remember, dont repair them, and constant effect bound weapons are the best weapons....
the biggest selling point is they only weigh about a pound or so...
bound armor is almost as nice, starting out, since they fortify things like intelligence, speed and agility....try the spells, and then look at what they do for you...
