MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!!

For those intrested, I created a map of the forrest (using mapnotes, this is the only way to keep track of where you are, cause some area's look exactly the same)

All area's have a number, area's 1 (starting area),2, 4, 7(dryad),13 (middle of the forrest) and 21 are the area's of intrest.

From each area I noted where each path takes you.
E stand for exit.

Note: some roads are only avalable after certain quests

not the only way, many use wilderness lore (or a high wisdom score) to navigate the fell woods, no map needed.

How do wisdom and wildernesslore help you there?

ok your skill icon's there is one w/ three trees it's the wilderness lore icon.

when you enter an area it will give you a message about the area, (what monsters to expect, resting ability ect)

in fell woods it will tell you which paths are the most used / unused. and will tell you stuff like - this area looks just like the last area but it's not...

makes fell wood a breeze.

and how the wisdom helps you?

wild lore uses your wis bonus as a modifier, if you have a high enough wis, your wild lore checks may still work.

I also navigated the fell wood on WS, but used the Driad's directions to get to the heart of the forest.

I would have guessed wisdom.
Does it make sence to shorten Wildernes Lore to WS?

It does to me, since in PnP wisdom is shortened to "wis". Sorry for the mixup.
