I don't understand this game. Just after Shengarne River and just as u enter Logging Village, You get attacked by the main orc and his group by that cabin. On my game, your character screens become greyed out like there is about to be a movie and all the menus become unresponsive. Is this just my game or is it meant to occur as it doesn't seem to allow for you to play the game after thisnpoint

this should be a cutscene, a cleric "emma moonblade" will port in, cast a few spells then a troll steals her sword and battle starts.

perhaps you have the auto pause on and it's freezing everything before the cutscene?

i heard she was meant to appear but the game is unpuased and its just not letting me control anything even though the charaters are still moving like they are in a cut scene but nothing is happening lol. its lik lasted for 10 minutes b 4 i turned it off!

How did you manage to carry on with your game if it stops running like that. I mean its like the cursor doesnt work as it doesnt function at all! it just points and doesnt click on anything and the characters are claked out ish lol. What do I do!

Just reload the autosave...

Ok, this worked for me with a similar problem in IWD 1 - and take care to back up as advised!

In your IWD2 directory create a new folder called Override2

Copy all of the files from your existing Overide folder to your new Override2 folder.

Once you have copied these files across, delete the files in your existing Override folder - leaving the folder in tact.

Re-load your game and hope the cut scene works, if it does then great! save the game under a new name and exit.

Copy all of the files from Override2 back into the original Override folder and restart your game, continuing as normal.

If the cut scene still does not work, exit your game without saving, copy the files from Override2 back to the original Override folder and come back to the drawing board.

The problem happened in IWD1 also to me.
I solved it by cancelling all the files you find under the cache, temp and temporary files folders.

Nothing's worked

Nothing has worked now. The game still doesnt respond at the same point. I dont know whast to doi!?
