Underdark question?

While in the underdark I talked to a dwarf who told me of a mage that had been imprisoned in the nearby caverns by the drow, can you actually free this mage and if how?

Yes, you can. Buy a Freedom scroll, then cast it in the area near the mirror/door shaped thing. Please check Walkthrough if you are not sure where.

Thank you but where can you buy a freedom scroll from? The only person I know is that Ribald elf in the adventures mart.

The Duergar dwarves have one for sale at the bottom of the screen in the main cavern of the Underdark.

I got to the Underdark via the aysolm <sp>
rather than using the portal can I get here another way, have so much crap to sell and wouldn't mind doing some easier quests

@Maximus are you wanting to know if there is a different way to get to the Underdark? Or where in the Underdark you can sell some of the things you've got?

In Underdark, you can buy and sell at the merchants in the south west of the map.
