Is it cheating to use the "bonus merchants"?

Is it cheating to use the bonus merchants from collectors/pre order edition of BGII?
I think its kind of cheating to install it beacouse they arent supposed to be in normal edition.

No it's not 'cheating' ...would it be cheating to install the expansion when it comes out????? No and it will have better weapons in it..

I have installed both bonus merchants and use them. If you feel it is cheating, then don't install them, it's up to you.

The only weapon that I found useful from Deidre wasn't really a weapon-it was a shield

Eh? And what about the Sensate Amu, Zerth Blade, Robe of Vecna, Mercykiller Ring etc.?!

No. It is not cheating. Cause we non-bonus CD havers can download a file and "Activate" Diedre and Joluv from our Cds.
BTW. yeah, the Robe of Vecna, and Sling of Everd, and The Defender of EastHaven was VERY useful
