Spell focus and Elemental focus

I've got a sorceror. But I'm not sure where to put the feats. Especially in spell focus. I use a lot of necromancy such as: Finger of death, Wail of the Banshee etc, etc, yet also many evocations, like symbol of Death, power word:silence. Also I use many flame based spells, but are putting points into these feats worth it? Just wondering what you guys did.

Also, I've got a drow as a sorceror, but should i rather opt for an aasimar?

Like I posted in you're other thread, i wouldn't pick a race that levels up slower for a sorcerer.
As for the feats, spellfocus is good, and so are the feats that give you +20%elemental damge and 5 resistance.
But there are so many options to pick, see what fits you best.

stilgar is right.
i would take a human or a half-elf instead (the human is better- you get more feats and skill points- and that is VERY good :) for a sorcerer...) :D

it's tough to screw up a sorc...

the four races that imo are the best at being a sorc are...

human, bonus feat and extra skill point

wild elf, bow & sword feats, save bonus, extra dex

asimar - cha 20, elemental resistances, 1 ecl

drow - cha 20, mr, bow and sword, save bonus, 2 ecl

i must admit i shy away from the drow, esp when they are my primary caster, their main advantage imo is the cha 20, the asimar's get that too and pay less ecl penalty. neither are very multi friendly. but the pally sorc has got major potential.

i usually use 1 or 2 sorc's w/ a human (who ends up being the skill guy, alchemy, knowledge, spellcraft, concentration, some talk skills, ect ect.

and pair that with a a sorc who just gets two skills, spellcraft and concentration (either a wild elf or an asimar pally / sorc) this char becomes an archer / fire support platform.

now spell schools and elemental foci...

this is the sort of thing that needs to be planned in advance,

if you have selected a lot of fire spells, spirt of flame is very nice,

and i always focus on necromancy, evocation and transmutation in that order.
