can somebody remind me how does the battle squares in the ice castle work, how do you get prizes, and how do you get new levels (when you are ansewring, please give me ALL of the tiny and big details plaese...)

battlesquares redux.

there are 10 levels, each level has 5 ranks.

first you select a rank (the 10 levels that go along the upperportion of the room.

each rank requires a different number of battles, (wins)

rank 1 = 3 wins
2 = 4 wins
3 = 5
4 = 6
5 = 7 wins

once you get 3 in a row the fights end, so you must plan ahead which squares you select, until you have the required wins to complete the rank you are shooting for.

to map this stuff out i usually use pen & paper to keep tack of what levels / ranks i've completed.

at the end of each rank you get a minor prize, some gold some gems, some ammo... and a spell will be cast on your combatant.

once you have complete each rank in a level you get a more powerful magic item. also screen shake.

once you complete all levels you get the grandmaster prize.
