Ok now i am seriously thinking i am insane of just completely whacked. I am 21, so girls i should be interested should be in their late teens right? Nope. Any girl under 20 annoy the hell out of me. It isnt the age thing at all. It is just...bah i dont know.
I was just going through my mobile/cell phone directory. Checking who i needed to update or delete. I just decided to fill in the bio data of my friends. Turns out i have 12 close female friends. Everyone of them is atleast 1 year older than me. I dont have a single female friend that is younger than me.
There is one girl who is 19 - my sisters age, i am not close to her, but she trusts me. With that exception everybody is atleast 22 or 23 if not older.
Guys range from 17 to 27 or more.
All the girls i have liked, always a minimum 1 year older some are 2 or 3 years older than me....i am thinking i am just plain nuts.
Oh yeah i am tired high on coke and so really really tired. Best time to post

Well, I know what thats like. Every girl I've ever dated has always been a year older then me. Teenage girls these days are too annoying, otherwise.

I used to like nothing but younger girls... mostly dancers because of how great they keep in shape. But as I got farther from highschool i realized the wasted effort and large amounts of time spent on girls.... when I could be with a woman.
My girl is only a year older but she seems much more...
Its better trust me.

@CM: I dont think age is an improtant issue, I have somewhat similar experiances but think they are caused more by chance and preferences then anything else, like madness or general annoyance connected to age.
I also fail to see how it could be a problem.

I tend to only like girls the same age as me...as younger is a bit too immature, and older will never take interest in me.

Age shouldn't be a factor; it's all about being around people you are comfortable with.
In a little while, all of the years will start blurring together. There is a tremendous difference between someone who is 12 and someone who is 16, but there isn't much difference if the people are 22 and 26.
However, my advice is this: when you're 21, chase all of the 19 year old girls you can. When you're 31, you won't be cool any more; you'll be an uninteresting thirtysomething guy, and when you're 41, you'll be a dirty old man.

And at 51, you're a fine, aged wine. Trust me on this.

No,
wrong. You should be interested in any charming, smart and pretty girl/woman. I don't believe for a second in preset conventions and norms regarding such a superficial thing as how many years old a person is. As long as you are not interested in preadolescent girls, you don't need to bother about the age of the girls at all.

Yes, that is strange...when a 40 year old man chases girls half his age he is a dirty old heap of filth, but when a 40 year old woman chases men half her age she is cool, brave and self-actualisating...

Such is the odd views of today's society.

It's like how a guy who sleeps around is a hero, while a woman who does the same thing is a tramp... Funny how things work...

Exactly. It's amazing that these prejudices still exist in society
Anyway, back to the issue, I don't think you should worry at all CM. In the long perspective it is of course nice and practical to have a partner who is roughly the same age as you if you plan to get a family - partly because of fertility issues and partly because of mortality. However, if you like a person, age is an unimportant factor, as long as all involved are old enough to take responsibility for the relationship.

@Fas - older chicks RULE.
On the Choice of a Mistress (I don't agree with all of this, but it's funny)
by Ben Franklin
[he recommends choosing an older wife]
1. Because they have more Knowledge of the world, and their Minds are better stored with Observations; their Conversation is more improving, and more lastingly agreeable.
2. Because when Women cease to be handsome, they study to be good. To maintain their Influence over Men, they supply the Diminution of Beauty by an Augmentation of utility. They learn to do a thousand Services, small and great, and are the most tender and useful of all Friends when you are sick. Thus they continue amiable. And hence there is hardly such a thing to be found as an old Woman who is not a good Woman.
3. Because there is no hazard of children, which irregularly procured may be attended with much inconvenience.
4. Because through more Experience they are more prudent and discreet in conducting an Intrigue to prevent Suspicion. The Commerce with them is therefore safer with regard to your reputation; and with regard to theirs, if the Affair should happen to be known, considerate People might be rather inclined to excuse an old Woman, who would kindly take care of a young Man, form his manners by her good Councils, and prevent his ruining his Health and Fortune among mercenary Prostitutes.
5. Because in every Animal that walks upright, the Deficiency of the Fluids that fill the Muscles appears first in the highest Part. The Face first grows lank and wrinkled; then the Neck; then the Breast and Arms; the lower parts continuing to the last as plump as ever; so that covering all above with a Basket, and reggarding only what is below the Girdle, it is impossible of two Women to know an old one from a young one. And as in the Dark all Cats are gray, the Pleasure of Corporal Enjoyment with an old Woman is at least equal and frequently superior; every Knack being by Practice capable of improvement.
6. Because the sin is less. The Debouching of a Virgin may be her Ruin, and make her Life unhappy.
7. Because the Compunction is less. The having made a young Girl miserable may give you frequent bitter Reflections; none of which can attend making an old Woman happy.
