Urgent help required with brass monks x 2 in conflagration chamber (no 8)

I CANNOT get through this. I have a tank (dwarf 4 levels fighhter then 8 levels of barbarian STR 21 DEX 18 CON 20) but even though I'm avoiding all the flame strikes, the 2 monks just wear me down (202HP). I grab 2 longswords and fight them two handed, but just arent hitting them as opften as they hit me.
I can get close, but they always just pip me to death with the second monk.
I've tried my rogue with evasion - level 12 but she just doesn't get to hit them often enough and dies even faster. And I dont think using her helps as the evasion can be got from the tank by moving him smartly.
My other fighter is a paladin, but level 11, STR 18 DEX 14 CON 16 and 143 HP so falls over more easily than the tank.
HELP!!!!!!!! The tank barbarian needs 7000 more XP to go up a level, and there'sd nowhere I can get that to try again after he's levelled up.

Use a spellcaster and cast imp invisibility asap.

The best and only method I found was to use a spellcaster who can create high level monsters like Greater Shadows or Elementals create as many as you can and just try to avoid the fires and they should do all the work for you.

Imp invisibility has a funny effect here if casted fast enough: The fires don't even start.

I beat this level with my druid, shapechanged into a shambling mound. There is little time to cast spells so I relied on the random entangle a hit from the shambling mound could get, and ran from the fire - whilst the entangled monks were burned

It was the only way I could do it, and it took a few attempts

You're using a Druid Ysh? I'm shocked!

Just beat the crap out of them with a ranger/barb. No sweat.

this is the easiest method that will give you the best chance of success.
a few summons plus mirror image and or improved invis and if high enough level mord's sword and the room is a breeze.
