Is there a spell or weapon that can cause your enemy to fail all save-vs-### in the next attack from you?

No,
I wish there was, that would make finger of death a VERY good spell,
and is would create MASSIVE sequencer cheese (even more then there is now)

But a sequencer with the right spells can give even the most powerfull enemy the saving throws of a goblin.

there are certain spells that do not allow a save, or magic resistance...even one spell that does not allow a save AND not affected by magic resistance...

imprison....

nutures beauty cannot be saved....sunfire is not affected by magic resistance...

Nope, with a roll of 1 you will always miss.

true, a roll of 1 always misses...

but the kensai class at high levels, well...with a thaco of -20 or so, ONLY a roll of 1 will miss...

and the whole point of improved haste and dual wield with powerful weapons and grandmastery and 3 stars in dual will give you so many attacks per round for all intents and purposes who cares if you miss one attack per 20 hits???

also, the big metal rod with one of the ammo, like pulse ammo, that gives even a mage or cleric really excellent thaco bonus...even aerie who has a thaco of 12 or so in my game dropped down to decent levels....

but soon you will discover its not thaco that counts all that much, as soon as you hit decent levels, stoneskin removal, and magic protection removal becomes much much more important...
