Stupid Morag Tong Quest..

I got the writ to kill Retheran at the Flowers of Gold in Redoran, the thing is that I'm part of Redoran house.. Any way of killing him without getting expelled? I never use spells or such other magic things, but there is like.. an opposite spell to the Calm Humanoid, right?
That would get him to attack me, eh? If so.. Where can I find such a spell/scroll?

You can kill him then ask for forgiveness from the Redorans. That's what I did. They forgave me and told me not to do it again. Speak to Neminda.
I think that may be the case with all the factions - you get one chance to get reinstated after you've been expelled. I also got thrown out of the Temple but they let me back in with a caution.

Aah, yes.. I considered this, but.. Well, it just seems so.. I dunno.. Im divine, I'm not allowed to error

You can get him to attack you with the Taunt option, that way it will be a self defense killing, and there is no loss of status within the house. Unless he is a well liked fellow, his friends, those around him, might not like you too much.
(also be careful that you don't accidentally hit an innocent with your weapon, or you end up fighting the entire room)
Me personally, I taunt a shopkeeper in each town to attack me. This gives me my own house where ever I go.

I cannot taunt during this quest, I only get, "Oh no, The Morag Tong has found me, HELP!" And then, "Goodbye" ..

Yep, That was the spell I meant, was'nt sure where to find them, but no I'll look..And that guy held hostage in mournhold, well..I just paid his ransom

Hmm, one other thing...Where can I find such a spell, and will it still not count as i crime even with the spell..? I'm still kinda attacking him, though with a spell.. And, and..Hm, yeah, thanks all for ye help

As I said, I had exactly the same dilemma as you, Spleen.
I couldn't think of any other option rather than to just carry out the Morag Tong assasination of this Redoran bloke, get expelled from the house and then reinstated when I went straight to speak to Neminda.
If there's another way to do it, I've not heard what it is.
I know it doesn't all fit together comfortably but there's nothing more frustrating that being stuck in a quest, is there.
JUST KILL HIM!

When I completed the Mora Tong quests I got way into character. highlight below for a spoiler
The Amulet of Shadows gives you 80% Chameleon. Cast Chameleon 20% for 100%. get your sneak up above 40, take off your shoes, enchant a Deadric dagger with paralyze, sneak up behind them and stab for a critical hit. I have only had to hit them more than once one time. Never been caught. Be sure and save fist though..just in case
