I noticed that when i went after the Lich in the Gate District he suddenly started casting Improved Mantle, Cloudkill, Meteor Swarm and Time Stop. Now I know how to kill Liches (I killed the other 2 already) but he followed me out to the inn!! Has anyone seen this before? He's also immune to all my spells!! Any suggestions, hints?? PLease!!!

I had the smae problem. I had cast 'Death Fog' in his small cell but he left it, ***hole, but make him come all the way out and when he cast a spell, run into a different room, so his spell can't harm you. Adventurly he run out, GOODIE. Then it's a quick visit to the wood shack and Bobs your uncle. (no offence to anyone with an uncle not named bob)

At first i had the same problem as you did, i got slaughtered couple of times, then i ( i have no idea if this had any influence) casted prot. from evil 10'radius hasted my paladin, stopped the game in advance when it was still loading the room, pushed the talk button when the lich was still blue, used attack on him and the lich didn't fight back for atleast 10secs! After couple of tries i managed to kill it before it started to put on its spell prots, time stop, gate etc. No dam to the party, good enough for me Image Image Image

I killed this lich by a stroke of luck, I guess. I entered the room, he threatened me, I paused, cast power word silence, and then shot him full of arrows while my two melee fighters hacked him to pieces. He managed to get up one contingency but with a quick breach, he never had time for any offensive spells at all.

I sent a stealthed thief in to attack the Lich, then retreat before his spells took effect. After a couple of attacks like this, the lich followed the thief back to the inn, where he was killed with melee weapons.

when he got out i casted sunray and it did over 1000 (!!!!!!) damage to him and well... he died Image Image
maybe i was lucky for the huge damage a single sunray did but i have heard before tha people did that much damage with sunray.

Locke, the rush finally worked on him. He was toast before he got more than 2 spells off. Thanks to everyone for the help.

I had fun with another one.
I have had a few liches (luckily not Kangaxx) follow me outside, but the best was in the bridge district. There is a building on the north-east corner containing two (or three) wizards. I just went in with my paladin and started chopping them up. One of them cast gate and up sprang a big demon guy. So I left the room (to the outside area in bridge district) to cast protection from evil. I cast this, went back in side. Then I noticed that inside only one wizard was left. No-one else. So I killed him off, then noticed Nalia attacking someone (she had permanent protection from evil). Checked on her and noticed that there was a wizard and the demon walking around outside in the city. I had nalia dispatch of the wizard then follow the demon around. The gated Demon was attacking civilians, dogs and cats. It was quite funny. I'll see if I can find a screenshot of it somewhere.

I got tired of him following me out so I just set some traps right outside the door. Bait him out. Dead. I dig traps.
