need help in solo sorc

I think I am going to solo sorc and need some help.
1. Should I use console to get bag of holding?
2. What quests and/or areas are best to begin with?
And any tips you might have would be apreciated

I would recommend CLUA for a Bag of Holding (this is a necessity)and Boots of Speed (more to speed up gameplay than for "cheating"); everything else can be obtained in the normal course of the game.
The early going will be difficult but you will quickly become very powerful, so have patience.
You will find Wands of Fire and Cloudkill VERY useful.
Start with the Circus Tent, Slavers, Bloodscalp and the room upstairs at Seven Vales; these will get you bumped several levels and give you enough cash to buy the Robe of Vecna and other goodies. Once you reach Level 15 and can summon Skeleton Warriors, you can take on almost anybody.

Now I have problems with traps. they keep killing me. anybody know of a way to stop this?

Your familiar can help to a limited degree but, other than that, you'll just have to endure them.
Save frequently.
Remember that Tensers Transformation might get you past a particularly ugly trap.
Don't even worry about chests; there's nothing crucial in any of them.

forgot to summon familiar. thought i had to litle life
there are some chests with some good items in. the iron horn of ?????? is in a chest.
but the worst traps are petrify traps. i have already found 2 and was killed both times. how can i avoid this (exept walking with spell imunity all the time) and i always check chests

Protection from Petrification (scroll/spell) or Potion of Mirror Eyes (or something like that) should work.... I think.

In the gain the service of sir ????? for the temple should i keep the real ilitium and use it on a mace of disruption (wich i cannot use) or give him the real thing?

Well if u realy wanna know Sir Sarles will realize the illuthium thats fake is fake. You'll wanna avoid giving him the fake stuff if you have a good char(for roleplaying sake). But if you need money gat the mace upgraded and sell it, but im not sure if u'd make money from that since it costs money to upgrade.

It is imho more rewarding to not use clua, you can do without the bag until you find it and the same with the boots. Stoneskin and mirror image will protect you from most traps and spell turning from the rest.

I usually give him the fake to get the +2 mace but since i cant use it ill just give the real to him.

Early on, while your still weak and vulnerable, learn use and abuse Sunfire and Melf's Meteors. The former ignores magic resistance IIRC and can hit improved invisible creatures you can't otherwise target with spells (think spirit trolls and Torgal). With the latter, you can fell even Adamantine Golems. Wicked wicked wicked.
Sorcerors are probably one of the easiest classes to solo. Challenging only in the beginning, after you get Project Image and the Lvl 8 & 9 spells, you are a killing machine

Stilleto of Demarchess (going to change this to a sling or firetooth (where is firetooth?) later)

Ring of the Ram
Belt of Hill giant strenght
Boots of speed
Cloak of the sewers
Amulet of power
4 potion of superior healing
Golem manual (flesh)
Wand of the apprenti
Pale green ioun stone
save -4 (all)
THAC0 8
Should i change equipment to something else. Give me your ideas (still in chapter 3)

Unless you have chosen Protection from magic energy, definately get the belt of inertial barrier. It'll save your butt in skull traps.
