I would like to know who is interested in playing a white wolf adventure here on Gamebanshee. Before I make up a story etc. I want to know whether there are any players available for this.....(I fear not many
, but a least I tried)
Please let me know....

White Wolf it self it not actually a game. It is divided into different "sub-games", like Vampire, Werewolf, Changeling, Mage and some other.
These games can be played together as their systems are tuned in a way the sub-games "stack". So you could play a werewolf who is going to hunt down mages and forms a party with a Vampire (although you could doubt this to be credible
). But you can also play a human who is fighting the supernaturals....like Buffy
There are different settings for this game, but I prefer to use the present...
I have to admit I haven't played white wolf a lot, because my friends prefered D&D (I do to
). But I have bought the Werewolf book and I liked the game, so I would like to play it here

Don't know yet. I want to know whether there are enough players before I start on the story.
So I can't tell you now.

I would like to join, but I'm afraid I just don't have the time to do so.
It sounds very cool though, fantasy in this world (or something like that).

What a great idea!
I would love to game with you guys, when do you think it would take place? The WW games I know already are Mage, Werewolf, and Vampire, so anything else, well you'd have to bare with me.
By chance, have any of you checked out the new White Wolf game, Exalted? It looks pretty darn cool. Basic concept is that it is an ancient version of the Masquerade universe. You have playable classes that are the precursors to the Vampires, Werewolves, Mages, Vampires of the East, all those classes.
Looks neat, expensive books though. Check it out online!

I'd be willing to make cameos as a hunter. I've been working on a new hunter concept, and it'll be enjoyable for all.

Since pretty much all the people that are interested in joining have far more expierence with White Wolf, would some of you be willing to be the GM?

It's story teller, and No thank you, I've had enough trouble in DMing as it is.

Well, what I can recall since last I indulged, World of Darkness is based loosly on our current reality, in that there is almost a parallel running between ours, and the World of Darkness. The difference is that Vampires, Mages, Changlings and Lycanthropes are real.
The system works somewhat differently then AD&D does, as WoD doesn't use HP, or Mana. Instead, health is determined by a series of boxes, which range from healthy, to dead, each box coming with it's own pros and cons. Blood is expended to use such talents as disiciplines, or cast spells. In the case of a mortal, though, there is no expenditure, but a certain degree of faith.
Three basic damage types: Bludeon, Lethal, and Aggrivated. Bludgeon and Lethal only do serious damage to mortals, and do little against everything else (meaning a vampire can take several bullets before he begins to sting), while Aggrivated (fire, acidic, holy, light, etc.) hurts every supernatural beast to great extents, some more then others.
Thats the basic jist of the game mechanics. After that, it's pretty much Disciplines and Faiths, and far too much for me to remember, and go into.

I'd love to through in my horribly disfigured city gangrel.
Or perhaps I could go with a ever so cheesy Anthropologist Serpent of the light...
