Run into a little problem!

Ok I recently reinstalled BG2 with ToB, and had enabled the cheat keys, because i don't like walking when i have cleared out a dungeon, it helps with tedium, and poor path finding. However I ran into a problem, not long after activating the cheat keys, i found i could no longer initiate dialogue, I always received the message that '<charname> is busy and cannot initiate dialogue with you'
Any ideas of how to fix this problem???
