cant get to the bandit camp!

Ive spent about one hundred hours on the game trying to get to the bandit camp but I just can't. I killed both of the bandit leaders that are supposed to take you directly there and I can't figure out how to get there now. further more I can't figure out how to read the books or letters. Help me please, I've been killing myself over this

Have you taken out Tranzig, the mage in Beregost?

He's in Feldepost Inn, upstairs (spell might be wrong... The one in the middle of Beregost where they sell more expensive drinks).
Also, make sure you always read all letters you find, particularly after you killed baddies.

You don't have to actualy read the letters to get items on the map, when they are in your inventory after defeating Tranzig, your world map should be updated.

After that just wander around in either of the mentioned areas(said in the notes) and you should come across some bandits(talk to them and convince them that you want to join them...

If you've completed the Nashkell Mines quest, then you should be able to keep travelling north from Peldvale (East of the Friendly Arm Inn), to reach the Bandit Camp.

I tend to run into glitches a lot in this area. Last time I played I ended up going in guns a blazin'.

I usualy do that because it's a lot easier to go in that way and kill everything in sight then killing things when your in the middle of the camp, coming out of the tent and surrounded by thugs.
