First, I found Minsc, but he won't come with me . I walked up to him and talked and he immediately said that his hamster does not like my tone lol. What do I have to do to get him in the party?

Second, are there any mods made for BG like there are for BG2? I found Dark Side of the Sword Coast, but I'm talking about smaller things like added NPC's or something like that. I would also love it if I could find an infinite stack mod like there is for BG2 where you can stack things like arrows and potions without a limit.

Minsc did the same to me, so I sent someone else (as leader) - Jaheira, as it happens, to invite him & he joined right up. I think it may be an alignment/rep issue, but I'm not sure .

So does this mean I cannot get Minsc anymore since I went past him?

I don't think so

I *think* Minsc will still be there. Some NPCs (like Viconia) disappear if you don't group them immediately, but I think Minsc will still be in town.

Maybe if you CLUA him into the game you can get him.

The reason why Minsc wouldn't join your party is because your main character has a low "Reaction" score. Your reaction score is based on alignment, Reputation, and Charisma. So I wonder what your alignment is and what you've done in the game so far (which affects your Reputation). If your Charisma is 3, be aware that you won't be able to get the Ring of Human Influence for quite a while. Since you had a problem with Minsc, you might have trouble with other characters in the game.

If you rescue Dynaheir and have her join your party (IF she's willing to join), Minsc will probably join your party if you return to the place where you met him.
