DAIS problems (Spoilers)

i dno wtf is wrong, but i dont know how to work the DAIS to remove the spell protection. i read the walkthrough and it makes absolutely no sense.

Hey Keeb, How did you take a screenshot of the game? I'd like to make mine a wallpaper for my desktop????

it's pretty simple. press the print screen button, located next to Pause|Break, and Scroll Lock, near the F12 key while in game. next, open up an image editor, (i used photoshop but MSPAINT will work) go into the EDIT menu, and click PASTE. from there, you get the image of the ingame shot. file-saveas and save the file.

I hope I can help you a little bit, I think you move the Dais by clicking on it, either the right or left side will move it that direction. Follow through clicking it with the various formulas (hopefully provided), and it should work.
Ok
Right side = clockwise
leftside = counterclockwise
Turn it counterCW to north then CW to the north = this will open the north door to the Abishai den
Turn it counterCW southwest then CW northwest = opens Oria's study
Turn it CW east then counterCW west = dispells antimagic effect in prison
