How to kill Pomab?

I am not far anymore of the end but I could not get past Pomab. I try to kill the images but he do not get some harm. How could you kill him?

Pomab is the shopkeeper who becomes the mage you battle on your return to Easthaven.
Basically you need to buff up good (esp with protection from lightning) then just go in all guns blazing and hope for luck to hit the "right" Pomab. It has worked for me each time

If I remember this part right, if you can cast death it should take care of everything

OK, now I remember. When I went through with my Ranger and Illusionist/Thief duo I just buffed up a lot, and basically just went in guns blazin and hoped I hit the right one just like Yshania said. I don't recall it being that difficult of an encounter.

U only have to run in with Fighter or, here comes the best part, get mad with fireballs... i love fireballs!

the real pomab has a different name that comes up when you hit him. i think the others are pomab and he is pomab the shopkeeper, or vice versa...

I just went after each Pomab with a different character. When you hit a false one enough, it will dissappear. Finally I killed the right one and everything ended. The crystal guardians just chased my mage around in circles and didn't even try to hit the other characters.

Great tip about the fireballs...Unfortunately -in MY game- Pomab seems to be invulnerable to fire...

Cloudkill should eliminate Pomab.

Well...I used a Death Cloud...with grand success :
everyone was dead in 1 sec
But, I reloaded my game and went towards Heart of Winter, to collect some extra XP for the grand finale of ID...
Anyways, the Pomab-problem is solved, there the tactic is clear.

Been a while for me as well. Seems like I had my cleric use Holy Word (or maybe my mage used Power Word: Stun) to keep him from running around and launching lightning bolts from his Wand of Lightning. Was then pretty simply to surround him and cut him down.
