@Enchantress: Sure...either that, or the very smell of food makes them violently ill. A woman I knew could only stand bland food while she was pregnant.

Yes, and there is a scientific term for this that escapes me. Mad, I think
Women have been known to crave coal, tissue paper (hopefully clean
) and neat lard. I had no cravings, I just went off a whole lot of stuff I had previously loved.
Now!! Had there been such a thing as Newcie ice cream my kids would have been born with Geordie accents
