I am wondering if there is any significance to the dwemer key you can obtain after taking the Dwemer Puzzle Box back, I have obtained it and found another Dwemer iron key in Arkngthand but cannot seem to find anywhere to use them, are they just a waste of time or am I missing something?

Yes there is a lower level. But your still not missing anything except a bit of mixed up architecture.

the only puzzling bit was down in the lower ore passage, where there is a pool of water and some different levels of balcony, I used the floating potion to get up to each one but just got some stuff out of a chest, thought about the window at the top but cuold not open it. Is that what you mean, can you PM me, as I really cannot figure out what to do.

Well it sounds like you found the place, I know the key says its for lower-A(whatever)thand but all it does open up some doors on the lowest level. If you didn't use the key to get to that "balcony place" then you unlocked the door earlier without the key.
