Do I need to rescue those prisoners? Can i finish the game without resuing them?

Any help would be apriciated. thx

the only prisoner who is pertinent to the game is nheero fhutma. you can just ignore the others. one of them is actually an enemy - if you wait long enough he will buff himself and attack you, but he isn't any trouble - he does drop malavon's rage if you're interested in getting all the spells on scrolls. but you really don't have to talk to, much less 'rescue' any of them.
