Another .. duhhh ... Jaheira "romance" ?? .. Is the part where she gets cursed by the character in the "Sea's Bounty Tavern" (?) really critical to the romance plot? Would leaving her outside and having the rest of the party kill off the "bad guy" have a negative effect on the romance?

I didn't think the two were connected. I never remember her not getting cursed regardless of who I am romancing when I go there.
I could be wrong...if I am, someone will tell me loudly

she gets cursed even if you're not romancing her, it's just another side quest... that does need some moving around, it's fairly simple really.
