How many spells per level can memorize Nalia? and Jan?

It's in your manual. I can't remember how many, and haven't got the manual here in my office. Sorry.
Memorizing spells gives you exp points in SoA, so I tend to remember as many as possible. However, due to the limit numbers you can memorize, depending on the characters' intelligence, you need to be careful. You may find something really useful, and cannot memorize it later, for example.
Having said that, Jan is Illusionist, and has some spells he cannot memorize anyway, and you can always have option to increase your intelligence temporarily (or permanently with ToB).
