Hello,
This may be a foolish question, nut since I am a beginner at this game, I would like to know please how to rest in the game, in any place I choose.
I read in the manual that there is suppose to be a "sleep" icon in the lower right hand side of the screen, but there is not. Threre are 2 buttons for the AI toggle and the all party select button.
So where is the *rest* button please?

I belive you have to be on a secondary screen. That is not from the main view.
If for instance you enter inventory, map or some other there should appear a rest icon.

The Sleep icon is in the lower righthand corner of the Inventory screen. It looks like a closed eyelid.
By the way, you can't rest just anywhere. You can rest outdoors in most wilderness areas, but when you're in town, you have to rest in an inn (or someone might wake you up and tell you not to sleep on the street). Talk to the innkeeper and choose which tyoe of room you want.

Yes, I know the icon is suppose to be there but it is not there. There are 2 other icons instead. The select all icon and the toggle AI on / off icon. that's it.
Do they get replaced from time to time???
Thanks,

Right click on one of your characters portraits to open up the inventory screen (not the gaming screen). This is where the sleep option is

I also think the area map view gives access to the sleep button.
And yes. The party AI and Select All buttons get replaced with the sleep button while on secondary screens such as inventory and area map.
