Most the time a would never ever say anything bad about Dungeons & Dragons or Wizards of the coast but I can't belive they would go do such a stupid thing by making D&D 3.5  Why would they do such a stupid thing 3.0 is the best they have came out with and it will stay like that but then they go make 3.5 which is pritty much the exact same thing I and plenty other people think it is a complete waist of money to go buy the new books when you got the exact same thing already. All they give you is new feats and more elabrate descriptions of things. I would give this idea a 1 out of 10.

There are mixed reviews on 3.5. Without a doubt 3.5 did clean up some of the issues that 3.0 had. But it also changed some things drastically. I think Monte Cook, who was a major part of the 3.0 rules committee and the writer of D&D module The Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, has a very fair and balanced response to 3.5. Go here: http://www.montecook.com and read what he has to say. You might have to do a search.

If you main beef is the buying of nw books, and that you think WotC are just trying to get money, they have brought out a 3.5 SRD, so you can see the changes and kep the old books.

huh.

I'm mixed on the 3.5 version rules. Basically, I see the point (kind of) but do resent buying new explanations. Happily....my library has already a copy on order, which isn't so bad.
