Chloe and other mod compatibility?

Any reports on if Chloe is compatible with other Weidu mods? I assume its cool to put her over them but some feedback would be nice since I was unable to find much about it in her FW board, and I really want to try her. Her (with +5 celes fury and +4 acid katana) and my female sorc, along with Valen..., and maybe Viccy, look out!

Giving her a whirl today... going to have to sneak her out to help with the tactics intro team...

Download Winrar here. It will unpack the rar archive. Rars usually pack things a bit smaller than zip as well.

yup Winrar is one of the best compressing utileties that are availabel

I actually like winace better, supports rar, zip and ace, and even jar...

And winace is free to download, if I might add. (Though I suppose there are free winrar's ou there as well.)

And IMHO, Chloe is a really good character and romance, if anyone is wondering and hasn't tried her yet. I finally got her to hit on me (Moonrae a female elven N f/t), took just under 8 days game time (and we do a lot in a day) and some thought out dialogue. A lot of talk in that week, and fun NPC banter. For my overall 2 cent take, I'd say she is quite well thought out (and quite fun)

WinAce also has the crappest interface known to man. Not to mention that WinRAR supports ACE files, and that the RAR format is superior to ACE.

WinRAR, the king of compression

Getting a bit back closer to the thread's theme, has anyone tried Chloe while having another NPC mod going? I've had difficulties with two that supposedly ran very well together. What's the verdict on this?

Chloe doesn't seem compatible with Wesley's mods. I am uninstalling it.

Thank goodness that I had past experience (ie much gnashing of teeth and banging of head on keyboard) with different mods - I now have a backup of a backup of my Override Folder.

Will look around the Chloe forums for similar issues.

Just the NPCs, or any other specifics? I have tactics, acension, item upgrade, ease of use, Sola and Valen but no other mod npcs. Neither Valen nor Sola are in the party at this point, however. But things are going well otherwise. Sola was before a tentative go in the U-dark but maybe I should regretfully decline him when the time comes? I was a bit worried now as the only backup I have is the installer disks... (probably should have backed up the override...)

I have Kelsey and the other Weimer mods that you have mentioned.

I didn't have backups of the Override in the past as well. If you have problems with any dialog, the only recourse is to uninstall and reinstall BG2, I am afraid. I hope nothing goes wrong with your game. I still have not found anyone with similar problems at the Chloe forums, perhaps it's just me. And Fable.

at this point, I have not yet reached the point of no return...I can still save my saved game, and uninstall and reinstall with just tashia...or maybe imoen mod....

a sort of almost sorceror cleric...a virtual sorceror cleric, if you will...

You all do realize that Chloe can be uninstalled to restore former game functionality, right? All this talk of "Oh crap I don't have a backup of my override folder!" makes me wonder.

And if you're having specific problems with compatibility, please report them in Chloe's forum. I can't exactly keep up with the dozen or so BG2 forums out there. So please post in Chloe's forum the problems you're having with Chloe and Weimer's mods, and which ones, and all that. Thank you!
