Okay the point of this game is to make up your part of the story how ever you want.

exp: the dude punched the dork in the stomach.......
this is when someone else says what they want to be part of the story.

Oh, and please don't end this so quickly I want to give everybody else a chance.

Lets start.

One foggy evening a boy name Ryu was walking through the woods back to his home. When all of a sudden something jumps right infront of him so he pulled out his sword and the battle began....................

next person you say what jumped infront of him and tell the next part of the story which is the battle.
I'll never look back, I've got no regrets 'Cause time doesn't wait for me i choose to go my own way.

For I am a warrior of the night.

The goblin made a fierce swipe with his sword, but Ryu managed to duck. He struck with his sword only to have the blow deflected by the goblins shield. The goblin struck again and Ryu desperatly....

...threw his pet rabid skunk at the Goblins eyes while he parried the blow! And then Ryu, being a small boy and not very brave, ran away, knowing his trusty skunk would follow. Soon Ryu reached his pitifully small village, where...

...he was greeted by a five farmers bearing ancient, rusty swords and pikes. "This is our land, and we want nothing of you immoral city dwellers! Go back to your filth!" he hissed. It was plain that Ryu would get no welcome here. Not if the man's manner, nor his weapons looted from dead soldiers, were any means to go by.

wolf, that came running towards him. With a scream of fright Ryu ran towards the nearest tree, all the time expecting to feel the jaws of the wolf starting to rend and tear his flesh........

nighthound. Oddly enough, it seemed as surprised as Ryu, and they just stood, blinking at one another, for a moment they may have lasted centuries, but probably didn't.

Then the thing stood up on its rear pair of legs, clasped the middle pair akimbo, and gesticulated with the upper pair. "I'm...sorry," it said, in a muffled voice. "Things have been going unusually, today. I seem to have wandered away from my den, and ended up, well...

(I've been asked via PM if I mean a wishing well. No. Look at the syntax. The "well" is a colloquialism meant to show befuddlement and awkwardness in conversation. :) )

Ryu's jaw dropped in disbelief, astonishment, and shock. Disbelief at not only that this shaggy nighthound just stood up; astonishment at not only the fact that beast was talking to him; but rather he was shocked by how the beast sounded exactly like his. . .

“Mother? Is that you?”

“Ryu?” the beast gasped, “Ryu, my son! I hardily recognized you with that skunk hanging around your shoulders!”

It was at this unfortunate moment that the skunk began to. . . .
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

grow, swelling and expanding at alarming rates. The area suddenly became absent of bird and beast alike as the seemingly tame creature's mouth became filled with hisses that sounded like the shaking of a rattlesnake's tail. Fur seemed to shrivel and then practically melt away. The skin beneath the vanishing coat began to change as well, paling and almost stretching as the quadripedal animal became bipedal, and looking fully sentient in gesture.

Ryu was stunned in disbelief as the gentle creature he almost knew as a pet began to be seen as something he'd never hope to see in his life: a doppleganger. Such accursed beings were not very common, but when they came, they meant bad luck, in one form or another.

With his life close to being in jeopardy, Ryu pondered his upcoming fate. Did this monster have friends abound, or would he alone cause him agony? However, a split second before he could plan a single action in order to save his own life, what he'd hoped the least, even above dopplegangers, came into hearing distance.

What Ryu saw next would certainly change his life forever. It was...

..a Basalisk. The basalisk staggered into the clearing, a glowing blue battleaxe deeeply embedded into its back and blood oozing onto the leaves covering the forest floor. With a hideous howl the basalisk lurched forward towards Ryu just as the nighthound crossed his path and was instantly turned to stone. Dead silence decended upon the forest, not a bird twittered in the trees.

Ryu cautiously peeked around the stone nighthound to see the basalisk dead on the ground. Looking back to the statue, Ryu broke down and sobbed "Mother..."

"Oh quit snivelling, boy", came a deep familiar voice, "she is stone, not dead"

"Dad?", gasped Ryu staring intently at the Doppleganger.

The Doppleganger gave a curt nod. "Go get the axe, boy. You are going to be needing in it the days ahead as you..."

"What do you mean days ahead of me. I am going home not on an adventure!" Ryu shouted. "Well if you want your mother back you go looking for the seven pieces of the Chaos Crystal." Said Ryu's Father. "oh man!" *snapping fingers* whined Ryu. " The Cyborg 009 marathons at 4!" "I'll record it" said Ryu's Father. "I'll go on the adventure." Ryu picked up the blue axe and headed home. When Ryu got home he went to the attic to get his grandfathers armour and sword. He threw on his back pack. And he was off to find the seven Chaos Crystals to restore his mother. While Ryu's father dragging his stone wife back to the house. As our adventurer walked through the woods he had ended up in the valley of..........
