mjcw: this post is in response to your question regarding Shadowkeeper in 'BG2FAQ' thread. Aqua-chan rightfully asked us to take this discussion elsewhere and so I did.
Save your game (not under quicksave; SK won't allow you to open a quicksave). Go to SK, hit the 'open saved game' button. You'll be able to access your saved game.
Go to 'characteristics', then 'class'. Change the class from 'paladin' to 'monk'. Set 'kit' to 'true class'
Then go to 'innate'. Choose 'kit' and add the monk kit. Remove the paladin kit. Go to 'abilities'and change your levels to zero. Leave the amount of experience points alone.
Save (SK conveniently saves under yet another name so you'll still have your original, unchanged saved game)and quit.
Start up BG2 and access the edited saved game. Your pc will now be a monk. You'll need to level up because you've set your level to zero.
If there's any problems, let me know.
