well i just need to get this out so ill do it here.

my friend's mother died of cancer half a year ago. today i wasnt thinking very clearly and said something stupid, wich involved his mother. im not going to write it here because im trying to forget this. well he got mad (who wouldnt). luckily hes still my friend but i feel really bad about this as i know he is very sensitive about this. why do i always talk before i think. thats the second time i almost lost a friend because of this.

thank you for reading i just needed to get this out.

Do not worry. I bet most people have at one time or another forgotten themselves and said something stupid. I know i have.

...talk about putting your foot in your mouth. ;)

I suppose trying to be more conscious of this kind of habit and avoiding it would be the first step.

@Latro: BTW, welcome to SYM Latro. :)

Everyone says incredibly stupid and/or insenitive things to their friends every great once in a while. It is unavoidable.

The important thing is being able to work past it, which it seems you have done.

Unless it becomes a frequent habit, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.

Well, IHUN (if you don' t mind that i shortened your name as such), you don't seem to be that alone. Everyone in this world (INCLUDING ME) make some verbal error like that sometime in our lives. I've made mine sure enough. You may have made an error, but it sounds like the mistake will be forgotten or forgiven in time. I can bet on that. *pushes a stack of casino chips into the middle of his betting table* ;)
