I am on the ocean floor of manaan and have to eitehr vent poison to kill the giant firaxa or overload the pressure in the pods. I would rather overload the pods maybe getting some lightside points? Any help would be much appreciated.

Okay, here's what you do. Anyone who's ever seen Die Hard with a Vengence will know this trick.

You have one pod that can hold 3 units and one that holds 5 units. I can't remember the names of the pods, so I'll just call them 3 and 5. You need to have exactly four units in one pod to overload the machine.

You fill the 5 then transfer from the 5 to the 3, leaving two units in the 5. You then empty the 3 and transfer the two units from the 5 to the 3, leaving the 5 empty. Now, fill up the 5 again and transfer from the 5 to the 3. Since there's already two units in the 3, there's only space for one unit, so when you transfer from the 5 to the 3, only one unit will transfer leaving exactly four units.

Breakdown.
Fill the 5, transfer to 3, empty 3, transfer to 3, fill 5, transfer to 3.
