I met that guy that was trying to enslave her, and then he attacked when I was back on the ebon hawk.
However, at about 1/10 health, he turned into an ally. He's right next to the ship, so it's almost impossible to talk to him without getting in the ship.
Neither the journal nor Juhani indicate that the quest is over, but the guy is still there...

Hmmm... You shouldn't have to activate him to talk to him. Once you get his health down far enough, his health bar will turn blue and he should initiate the conversation himself. The only solution I can think of is luring him away from the Ebonhawk's entrance during your fight with him by getting him to chase you. Or maybe even changing the angle or the direction he's facing could do the trick. That's a stumper...
