I'm working on the main on manaan. I made it across the ocean floor and into the kolto processing facility. I cleared out all the Insane Selkath and everything was fine. I then activated the force field and had the conversation with the scientists. The countdown started and I tried to talk them out of decompressing the chamber with no luck, so I was going to try the computer method but I didn't have enough spikes. I went up to the city, bought some and made all the way back down. The problem is that now every time I go into the building again I take a few steps and then die. Anybody know how I can get around this? Am I screwed now?

You have a fishy problem! or atleast I did when I went through it.....it seems that a fish spawned behind me where I couldnt see it and was taking bites out of me from behind, when I figured this out I just blasted a few shots off from my trusty Sonic Emitter to put an end to my needless suffering.

No that isn't it. I'm inside the building and not wearing my environmental suit. The decompression countdown has completed so I think my character runs out of air.

Did you check the walkthrough on GB?

I just read up on it and it looks like theres nothing you can do :/
Unless you can make it to the scientists withing the few seconds you have left or have a back up save game....other wise

Perhaps you can still complet the quest without them, try heading to the giant firaxa and accesing the control panel.
