I have a couple mods installed, Kellsey (not in the party at this point), and the ease-of-use upgrade, which I think includes the multi-stronghold mod. Anyhow, after talking to Firkraag in the Copper Coronet and getting the quest, I make my way to the Windspear Hills and get taken in by Garren Windspear, who only says something like "This weighs heavily on my heart" and just stands there. I don't get the option to rest while he goes out to clear things up with the Helmites, and his daughter isn't kidnapped, so the full quest can't be finished. Any idea of how to get around this?

I have a similar problem with Garren. I went straight to Firkraag's lair and met him along the way. There, he said his daughter had been kidnapped and I was able to finish the quest. Major bummer is that I didn't get the quest xp or the paladin stronghold afterwards.

If someone has a way to get the xp and the stronghold, please advise.
