Darth Malak and force immunity (spoilers!)

Anybody care to take a jump and explain how Darth Malak can levitate or wrack your body with pain, when you have Force Immunity going?
Malak uses Force Breach like its going out of style, I fould everytime I got my force powers up he would blast me with it and drop everything except my shield....and it does drop Force Immunity.
Face it the game cheets!....and it still cant beat me! BWA HA HA HA
I have way to much time on my hands.......
