so now that i've gotten into the passage of the walker, how do I get out?
I've tried to crawl through the hole I made with the satchel, but now I can't get back through.
Any sugggestions?

You should be able to get through the same way you got in: activate the space in the rocks like a door. A quick way to get all the way out of the dwemer ruins is to cast Almsivi Intervention, which places you in front of the Mournhold Temple, Divine Intervention, which places you in Ebonheart, or Recall.
