I plan to have both of these in my party this time round (good aligned) and i have 2 questions:

1) who is the more fun romance?

2) who do they have good interactions with

i know jan goes well, so ill be having him...but who else? (considering playability too)

Solaufein, Minsc, and Jan have some interesting developments

I also like the discussions between Sola and Viconia. Of course, you will either have to watch your reputation or add a mod which will keep everyone happy for this to work.

I haven't ever played a sorcerer, much less Kelsey. I do plan on adding Tashia, Kelsey and a few other mods for my next time around.

That really depends on what you prefer :)
They are both great mods.

I would say that overall the Kelsey mod has had far more work put into it, and he really talks a lot. So if you are looking for a really polished mod with lots of dialogue, and the sweet 'boy next door' personality, Kelsey is your man :)

The Sola mod, unlike Kelsey, does not have voice acting, which is a shame. However, he is a pretty sexy character, if you like the brooding, philosphical poet sort ;) Which I do ;)

Well, both of them interact with all of the Bioware NPCs at least twice throughout SOA and TOB, so quantity-wise you can't go wrong.

Kelsey and Jan's interactions are among the most popular. Jan gives him a couple of "gifts."

Both have good interactions with Imoen.

Solaufein talking to Valygar is worth seeing.

Kelsey has some good banters with Korgan.

Kelsey and Solaufein also have a banter in SOA if you install the "Solaufein Awareness" component of Kelsey. You must install Solaufein first for this to work, and along for the ride will be the romance "conflict" that means Kelsey won't tolerate you romancing both of them at the same time. (Solaufein will allow any other romance by default, that's just the way he was designed.)

Could you be a little more specific?

i read the kelsey readme, and it said that if u install sol after kel, just rerun the setup, so i did exactly that, but when i told it to install the kelsey thing it said sol wasnt installed (although i had just run the sol setup and been explicitly told that i had successfully installed it). It doesnt really matter, its just a little extra like Cloakwood squares (OMG that is funny!)

Huh. Can't explain why it wouldn't install afterwords, but I'm glad you enjoyed Cloakwood Squares. :)

Well, I wrote the text, Kismet implemented it as a mod.

I still haven't revisited the Cloakwood concept, but I'm sure I've got another one in me. :)

I'm guessing that when you re-ran the Kelsey setup you chose [R]e-install for one of the Kelsey components that was already installed. If you did that, try doing [N]o change for components already installed.

When re-installing, WeiDU strips off mods added after the mod you're re-installing, makes the changes and then puts back all the other mods it stripped off earlier. So if you chose to re-install a Kelsey component (rather than no change) Solaufein would actually not have been installed when you went to install the conflict piece.

They're NPC mods - Kelsey is a human sorceror, Solaufein is a drow fighter/mage. I've never used Kelsey, but Solaufein is great.

For details on how to download them, read the resources post that's stickied at the top.
