Final Battle - Energy Drained Twins

OK final battle went well .... UNTIL I had both twins down to 'almost dead' and they were refusing to die !! Oric the Grey appeared and DID NOTHING, I talked to him and he gave the old speel. As the frustration mounted I noticed that when I hit the twins with the energy drain sword (the one from the evil god avatar) the feedback log reported I had energy drained Isair and Mad then they DISAPPEARED ??? Oric still says nothing. WHAT HAPPENED ??? BUG ?
