I'm thinking of about dualing my lv9 beserker to a cleric.
Is this the right level to dual on? If not, why not?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of dualing to a fighter to a cleric?
Also, say i do dual what is good well rounded party to use to play right through (TOB included).
I'm thinking ...
Figher/Cleric (me) evil
Minsc
Korgan
Viconia
Edwin
Aerie (subs for Imoen later)
That gives me 2-3 fighters, 1-2 cleric/palidin and one mage.
What you think.
Cheers
To dual or not

The level sounds like it would work, but I'm not sure about the party, mainly for these reasons.
1) You need a thief from the get-go. There are going to be quite a few traps, some that'll be dangerous, to say the least.
2) Unless you've got a certain mod, having a mix of good & evil NPCs (especially if your party's going to be geared towards evil, by the looks of it) won't be pretty. Also,

Korgan and Aerie will quarrel with each other and eventually fight/kill each other. Not good thing. Minsc will leave if your reputation gets too low, as would Aerie and Imoen.
Don't know what else to say.

Dungeon Crawl Inc.: It's the most fun you can have without 3 midgets and a whip! Character stats made by your's truly!
Also, for the first three chapters of the game (which could be VERY long, depending on your chosen optional quests), you will have three clerics. One cleric is usually enough (especially if that cleric is Viconia with her 18 WIS), and two is even being on the cautious side, but three is just overkill. As Aerie is the only good-aligned cleric in your party, maybe switching her with Jan might work as he is a chaotic neutral Illusionist/Thief, IIRC. That way, you won't feel the drop-off in the loss of Aerie's mage spells, and you get some badly needed thieving skills as well.
Also, if you are going to play this party through ToB, as well, you can get a very worthy (and much more despicable) replacement to the lawful good Minsc ...

That makes me fairly evil, no?
That would give me two tanks up front. A Pally. A good mage and a thief (yoshi/imoen) for ranged attack.
Who's the Pally (paladin?) in your party? Keldorn is the only paladin in the game and will not get along with Viccy and Edwin for long. Are you considering a fighter/cleric to be the Pally? Of course if you are going into ToB with this group you can also pick up Saravok as another tank or keep Immy for her mage abilities.
