Well saturday night my dad was havin some bad heartburn. no one thinks anything of it. 12 am sunday my dad goes to the ER and they give him some meds for the pain and acid. he does have acid reflux disease after all. he gets up in the mornin and the meds havent helped. he has an appt some time in the afternoon . he goes and while hes there his heart beats per min. drops to 32. they give him diff meds and send him home. he goes back to the dr today and they tell my mom that he has had a heart attack somewhere between his last appt and this one. they put him in ICU and find out that his heart was dmged durring this heart attack. so they move him to a new hospital where they can get a better look at what happend.

this has been one hell of crappy year

oh baby, im so sorry to hear that- I will keep my fingers and toes crossed untill he returns safely home again.

hes doing better since i posted last. the hospital is gonna see how bad its doing tomarrow.

His heart rate dropped and they didn't check it out?!!

i dunno if they checked it out or not but all the people at the 2nd hospital were amazed they let him go home

Update: the old stuff they did in his heart is ok. a small artery in the back of his heart collasped this time so they went in and put a stint(sp?) in, and hes in good shape

Nice to know he's better now...

...hope things will improve more in no time.

I feel your pain Taco during those first moments. My heart bled seeing my father in pain after his appendix burst and right after the operation.
