Found Beriands' staff , went back to return it to him, went back to dungeon and found that both doors are locked again, i had already unlocked them once, whats going on? do i have to start over? any help would be greatly appreciated. immediate responses please im stuck.

Isn't that a glitch rectified by the 1.4 Patch? I really don't know....I'm as confused about it as you are...I know nothing of how to fix bugs....

Well, this happened to me many times either with or without 1.4 patch.

I fear you'll have to start it all over again.

Unless you managed to break through to Stillwater from one of the passages found in the dungeon (Tombs and Mines in the Main Halls, Lizardfolk Camp...)
