I realize the game is just out..but usually its not long before some smart chap gets out some editing tools and goes poking around..has anyone checked to see if 'knowledge (arcana)' is an unimplemented function at all?
Game designers are notorious for leaving in all kinds of things they never 'turn on' when shipped.. i'm wondering if thats in there for identifying items.. (beacuse honestly who would pay 100 gp to ID a potion of CLW.

At this point, there's nothing worth buying Hommlett so using cash to identify items is ok with me. Also noticed you pay the 100gp fee if you cast identify yourself.

Yes in the PHB casting identify costs 100 gp in 'spell components' but players are normally allowed in PnP to use an applicable skill to try and determine whats what (because its ridic to pay 100 gp to identify a lowly potion)

So I guess what I'm saying to this is..I expect that this type of way of IDing items was tested but perhaps not turned on because they didn't feel it worked properly or something...
(go to any game mod place and there are lists and lists of either not activated or almost finished features that exist in a game)
so I was curious if anyone checked stuff yet to see if it was in there and just turned off...
